A big thank you to all the members who turned up at Paxton Sailing Club Open Day, what a good turn out! And lots of people attended, even though the advertising wasn't as good as I had hoped. So nice to see so many of our members, and what an array of boats on show! Some even brought boats that they knew they wouldn't sail, just to show them. Great and thank you.

Our next Open Day will be on Saturday 12th July 2025. It coincides with the Little Paxton Paxfest. A lovely afternoon of music and dog shows with lots of stalls

Thanks as well to Iris and Paul, for the gazebo, so nice to have a bit of shade, and Phil's parasol helped as well. Norman bought several tables, which we needed, and 2 "A" boards which we used to point people in our direction, with the offer of a free try at sailing a boat. The club boat ‘Jimbo’ worked hard most of the day. Thanks to the other Paul and Phil and others who helped the youngsters sail it, and one of Iris and Paul's boats as well. Thanks to the other members who brought tables etc. I hope everyone who came enjoyed the day, thanks once again for making it a success. I don't think I have seen so many members together before!
