The club was set up in 1950 by enthusiasts. The club continues today with about 40 members both adult and junior.
We have access to Paxton Lakes Sailing Club's Lake, Little paxton, just off the A1 near St Neots.
On this stretch of water we can use fast electric boats scale models and yachts, but not IC.
The sailing club has not imposed any restrictions on our use of their lake, we use it primarily on the First Tuesday of each month, and on Thursdays. A start time of 10am, finishing when the last member leaves. The club can be used at any time as long as there are at least two adults.
If you want to use it at any other time access to the water has two combination padlocks. To get into the the club house you will need to have a key.
The club was first set up at Cawcutts lake in Impington. Boating takes place on Sunday mornings from 9am until 1pm. This is the only time members are permitted to use the lake which is now controlled by an angling club. We allow scale boats and yachts, but not fast electric boats or boats powered by internal combustion engines (IC)
Due to access restrictions at our lakes, prospective members should contact a Committee Member to arrange access. E-Mail via the links at the top of the page.
